This fresh, seasonal favorite is only available for a limited time each year! The coveted King salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) is the largest of the five species of wild Pacific salmon. Also known as Chinook, it is highly sought after by chefs around the world for its generous fillets and desirable high fat content. Loaded with naturally-occurring heart healthy omega-3s, it offers a soft and buttery texture and mild to moderate flavor. This premium fish fillet is excellent baked, grilled, broiled or pan seared. It's also ideal for cooking on a cedar grilling plank!
We primarily receive California wild king salmon, however depending on time of year and availability we also source from Oregon and Alaska. Each 1lb portion is hand cut in house from whole salmon, with pin bones and skin removed, then vacuum packed and proton frozen to maintain the highest quality.
